Enis Viertmann advises and represents international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and startups in all areas of intellectual property, IT, and data law, as well as on issues related to the use of artificial intelligence. A key focus of his practice is advising on complex corporate transactions, particularly with regard to digital and technology regulation and intellectual property.

Details

Enis Viertmann studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After passing his first state examination, he worked as a research assistant in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions department at a major international law firm in Munich. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, including placements at the German Foreign Office in New York, at a major international law firm in Brussels and London in the areas of competition and antitrust law in the context of private equity transactions, and at the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C. Enis Viertmann has been with KNPZ since February 2026.
