Moritz Schmitz advises and represents international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in all areas of IT law, data protection law as well as in all areas of intellectual property and copyright law. One of his main focuses is the support of complex M&A transactions with regard to IP/IT and data protection law.
Details
Moritz Schmitz studied law at the University of Passau, majoring in commercial and business law. He worked as a research assistant at a major law firm in Frankfurt in the areas of corporate and real estate law while completing his doctorate. He completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, including stations at KNPZ and a law firm in Montreal. Moritz Schmitz has been working for KNPZ since 2024.
